Follow these simple steps to install TurtleSilicon on your Mac
After downloading, locate the TurtleSilicon.dmg file in your Downloads folder and double-click it to open.
The DMG file will mount as a disk image on your desktop or in Finder's sidebar.
From the opened DMG window, drag the TurtleSilicon.app icon to your Applications folder. You can do this by:
/Applications
and double click on the Applications folder
Then simply drag and drop the TurtleSilicon.app
into the Applications folder.
Since the app is not signed by Apple, you need to remove the quarantine flag. Open Terminal and run this command:
xattr -cr /Applications/TurtleSilicon.app
Press Cmd+Space, type "Terminal", and press Enter. Or go to Applications > Utilities > Terminal.
You can now open TurtleSilicon from your Applications folder or by pressing Cmd+Space and typing "TurtleSilicon".
Or just double click it in the Applications folder.
When you first run TurtleSilicon, macOS will ask for permissions to access files on your computer. This is completely normal and necessary for the app to:
